Dear Family,
How are you? I am well. The week has gone quickly, as usual.
I finished reading the The Book of Mormon today. As I had mentioned,
I've been marking references to Christ by His name, His words, and the
words of prayers. Here's the list of prayers, if you're curious:
- 1 Nephi 7:17; 17:9
- 2 Nephi 4:30-35
- Enos 1:7
- Mosiah 18:12
- Alma 2:30; 14:26; 15:10; 18:41; 19:29; 22:18; 31:15-18; 31:26-35;
33:4-11, 13, 16; 36:18
- Helaman 11:4; 11:10-16
- 3 Nephi 13:9-13; 17:14; 19:20-23, 28-29
- Ether 2:18-19, 22; 3:2-5; 12:23-25, 29-35
I'm planning on starting it again, this time marking and reading to
understand repentance and virtue. Tomorrow I'll be analyzing in my
personal study what I've read.
The week was mostly spent in exchanges with Bell Ville and Marcos
Juarez. We were able to teach quite a bit in Leones, but we need to
improve what we teach as people aren't getting to church nor baptismal
commitments. Sunday was quiet; a goodly number of our brethren are
suffering health challenges and neither they nor their families got to
church this week.
Transfers are this week; I find out by Monday if I get to stay.
I've attached one of the latest pictures of the construction of the
Cordoba temple. (photos)
